9th Gen K-Tuned 3.5 SRI Calibration

Hello,
I recently purchased a 3.5 K-Tuned SRI for my 13 SI. What is the recommended calibration for this? Car already has a stock flash tune. This will be my first bolt on. I do plan on adding a full catback exhaust in the near future.

If you want to run a Hondata basemap, you will want to run the 2013 "Short ram intake, cat delete, catback exhaust" calibration. The K-Tuned intake needs to be tuned speed density, therefore that calibration is really your only option to get the best result. You will then need to do some fine tuning of course, but it should get you in the ballpark. All of the other tunes are MAF sensor based, which will most likely cause some terrible idle issues and overall poor fueling, not to mention check engine light codes.

Perfect. Thank you for the help. After I setup that calibration would you do me a favor and take a look at the datalog? Looks like you're kinda the guru with flashpro and honestly I don't have much experience with fine tuning.

Yeah no problem. If you want to tune it starting you on my stuff let me know. Since you have mods planned for the near future, we can tune it the short route for now using my stuff and then spend more time on it when you add your other mods. It's totally up to you so just let me know.

I mean if you already have a custom tune with a 3.5 K-Tuned SRI, that'd be awesome. I'm good with the short route for now. Just as a little back story this is my daily that is autocrossed on a regular basis. I do plan on putting more into the engine once I find a new daily but currently just looking to add a few easy bolt-ons. Thanks again for the help on this.

Yeah I do, it would be a better start than the other calibration most likely. And no problem on the daily and autocross stuff, I don't tune them for anything unsafe or make them do anything, I go by what the car likes.
So here is the first one for you. Take it for a drive when you can. For the datalogs, we need them to be in the twenty minute range with stop and go type driving. On the drive, we need one wide open throttle (WOT) pull in third gear from 2500-7500 so we can work on the WOT fuel too. If you want the rev limit lower or anything, just let me know. It will take a few revisions to get everything smooth out.

Thank you for this. I'll get the datalogs later this week and post them. The rev limit looks almost the same as my current tune except for recovery which is a tad higher on your tune, so I don't expect any issues there. Since Autocross is mostly ran in 2nd gear a higher rev limit is preferred.

Sounds good. We'll see how it looks when you have time.

Hi EFICU,
I have the logs. What is the suggested method to provide these to you? I have 2 and both are bigger than 20mb's
