Flex fuel setup question
Flex fuel setup question
I wired in a flex fuel setup to s300 using the a25 pin as power and vcc to my analog 0 and ground to the analog ground, there is a 2.4k ohm resistor soldered in between the power and vcc to the ecu, I’m about to send the car to get tuned, is there a way I can test to see If my sensor is working correctly without putting e85 in it? I assigned a guage on my display menu to read the analog 0 and it shows a 0 zero readout with gasoline in it? I just want the car to be good to go so I don’t get extra charges with the tuner if something isn’t setup correctly. How can I test this, there has to be a way? Right ?
Re: Flex fuel setup question
You will have to put in ethanol and see if it reads correctly.
Re: Flex fuel setup question
You should be able to see some form of output if you are using gasoline with any ethanol in it...even E10 like you get at most pumps.
Try setting up the display to use "Eth. %" instead of Analog 0. It's under the "Analog Inputs" drop-down when you are setting up the display. Make sure your Flex Fuel tab is set up correctly.

Re: Flex fuel setup question
Ok I’ll try that thanks for the tips I’m kind of a Hondata noob, also I have another question. I’m using a three port Mac valve wired into a11 and a25 and the friggan think clicks like crazy anytime the ignition is on. Is that normal? I cannot imagine it is. How do I get it to stop. I’m sure the tuner will mess with it but if I wired it wrong or need to change something I’d like to do that before hand. I will also be racing the car at the drag strip so I will need to know how to alter the boost by gear settings at some point anyway.
