Here is one datalog i made today with a base map i found on the forum
Also im in Mexico City, the altitude is 2300 meters above sea level
Thank u guys

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
Yeah the part throttle stuff isn't too bad, but the WOT fueling is really far off. I wouldn't recommend doing any more full throttle pulls until the tune is adjusted. Are you planning to add any other mods in the future, or is this going to be your setup for a long time?
If you don't have any mods planned, I would recommend tuning it the proper route by going in and tuning each cam angle one by one, then blending out the tables. That's the only way to get the best tune for your car. It usually takes around 10-12 revisions to get it dialed.
Let me know if you have any future plans and then we can go from there.

Thank you very much for the help bro,
For the next 6 months, my car will have only these mods.
Probably in the future i will refresh the engine with new pistons rbb, maybe another cams, and the type s oil pump upgrade, but for now thats all.
Thank you man

Okay, well let's go through and tune it completely so you can have it all dialed for now and give you a base for retuning when you rebuild the engine.
This first calibration will be the 0* cam angle with vtec at 4500. For the datalogs, we need them be roughly twenty minutes in length with mostly stop and go type driving. On the drive, we need one wide open throttle (WOT) pull in third gear from 2500-7500 so we can see the WOT fuel. For this first calibration, keep the driving normal and calm, and only the one WOT pull. I want to get some data before you have too much fun with it. That and the 0* cam angle is the least powerful, so don't get discouraged when it doesn't feel super strong.
What fuel do run down there?
Give this one a drive when you can, and we will see how it looks.

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
Hello again bro,
So here is my datalog using your first calibration, i want to say that i notice a difference on the respond of the car, just better than the map that i sent you, so here is the data attending all your considerations, doing a pull on third from 2500 to 7500, and all the time driving normal.
Sorry about the delay on the reply but here in the city is very complicated to make pulls because there is a lot of transit everytime,
The fuel than im running is 91 oct (the better here)
If you want anymore please tell me and thank you very much

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
That's good to hear. It will get better as we go too, as we move up in cam angle it will get stronger and smoother.
Do you have a lightweight flywheel on this car?
Here is the next one for you. I am going to have you make another datalog on the 0* cam angle. I made some adjustments for your altitude I want to dial before we move up. So take this one for a spin when you can. If it's easier for you, you can make the WOT pulls in second gear for now. Then once we aim to finalize things, we will need to get third gear pulls. If you make second gear pulls, just be sure to get down to around 2500 and go WOT to 7500.

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
Hello my friend, im here again with recent datalogs for you,
I want to say that i feel the car good but i felt it better with the first calibration, the things that i notice now is that the car is more heavy when i make the pulls, also responding to your question about the flywheel i think i have the stock one, i have 1 month with the car and im not sure about internals on the engine so i think i have the stock flywheel, why are you asking that? If i could know.
Can you provide me an email so i can send the files? Here i cannot attach because they are too big
Thank you in advance bro.

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
Yeah we're only on the 0* cam angle right now, so it won't be exciting to drive at all. I just wanted to get a solid base before moving forward. As we move up in cam angle, it will get better as we go. Sadly your elevation is so high it's tough to get too much power out of it because the air is so thin, but we'll do the best we can.
My email address is in the "calibrations" tab of the files I sent you. You can send me the datalogs there.

Hey man,
I´ve already sent you the datalog via email, i will be here if you need anything.
Thanks

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
Yeah it looks pretty good. I made some adjustments, now we move to the 15* cam angle with vtec at 4500 again.
Be sure to shoot for 20 minutes in length so the files aren't too big. And on your third gear WOT pull, but sure you're going from 2500-7500 so we can work on the WOT fueling.

Disregard that file above. Use this one below for the next datalog.

Hey man whats up,
Here is the datalog i made today, 20 minutes driving and some clean pulls on second and third gear.
Thank you

It's looking good. Here is the next one, we will now move to the 30* cam angle with vtec at 5500 now. Take this one for the same type of datalog and driving style.

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
Hello man, it´s me again, sorry for the delay on the response but i went to a business trip and i came home yesterday.
Ive already made another datalog for you, but before i want to say that i felt the car better, the response is night and day comparing to the last calibration, when vtec engages at 5500 rpm damn! it feels a lot of power and also the car is very smooth, but unfortunately i had an issue in this last datalog, after the pull on 3rd gear, 3 lights came on on the cluster (check engine, and two vsa lights), then i drove for 10 minutes and the cars runs normal but with the lights on.
After that i went to another place, i turned off the car, and when i turned on the car again, just the check engine light remain on.
Here is the datalog, hope this works for you.
Thank you in advance

Re: Need a base map for K24A1/K20Z3
No problem. Yeah I've been watching an intermittent cylinder misfire code, that's why I was asking if you had an aftermarket clutch and flywheel. It hasn't thrown the code on each datalog, so I was watching it to see how it went. It was only showing cyl 1, now it's showing cyl 4 as well, which throws the code.
Can you give me some background on the engine, did you buy the car with the swap or did you have it done?
What happened to the old engine?
Did you reuse the old ignition system parts, plugs, coils?
It might be a good time to pause and look things over mechanically. When you search the problem online, you get a bunch of different opinions and supposed fixed for the misfire. But let me know the backstory on the engine swap and the answers to the questions I posed.
