S300 Not showing any values but is connected

I have a hondata s300 v1 board that i got for my turbo build. It’s installed in a p28 ecu so i have an adapter that connects the two together from my stock obd2 harness. The issue i’m having is that when i plug in my cable from the board and turn the key to accessory, S manager shows that the board is connected and all drivers are installed but i get no readings. The lightning bolt at the top is also on. No Tps or any values update correctly. I can start the car but it runs really rough pretty much the same as with the stock ecu (because no tune is recognized obviously) i haven’t tried to upload a tune because i cannot get Smanager to even recognize afr or tps when it starts. i have used the stock itr map but it essentially changes nothing as if it’s not even plugged in. Hondata board shows a green d4 light that stays on all the time but my d2 light never comes on at all. not red but just not on at all. i thought it just might be a bad ecu connection but dealer sent me pictures of it working with d2 on green and connected to s300 properly. could my jumper harness be a problem? Although I would have thought it wouldn’t recognize the board at all if it was. or is there something i’m missing?

What do you mean upload a calibration to the ECU? Just hitting upload the tune?

Have you uploaded the calibration to the ECU?

What are you clicking to start datalogging?
