OTS Tune For 27Won W2?

Post by chunglygamer »

I found this selection on the OTS tune. Is this specifically for the W2 turbo or W1? Also, regarding throttle response, can you have "Throttle Response Stage 2" and "Throttle Sensitivity Standard" be selected together or do I have to select "Throttle Response Stage 2" with "Throttle Sensitivity Stage 2" together? Don't want to cause confusion on the ECU.

Those calibrations are for the W1 turbo. You can mix and match the response and sensitivity however you want.

Ah okay. What's the difference between "response" and "sensitivity?"

Response is how quickly the throttle will respond. Sensitivity is how quickly it will change.

So if I don't want the gas pedal to be super sensitive, then I would just mess with the "Response?" For example, my brother had a 99 civic and his throttle was super sensitive. I would barely put any pressure on the gas pedal and it would rev up to 4k-4.5k RPM.

Don't over think this. Try one setting for a week and then another setting the next week. None of the choices are going to be bad.
