08 FA5 fbo progress

Post by sam.witte7@gmail.com »

2008 FA5
Hybrid Racing cold air intake.
ZDX Throttle body w/ adapter.
RDX injectors w/pigtails.
PLM header and test pipe.
FullRace 3" cat back exhaust.

EFICU has sent me a basemap to start with. This is to keep me from hijacking the old thread I had previously posted on.

Gotcha. We'll proceed in here.

Post the datalog for this setup when you take it out. The calibration I sent you will work for now, then once you get everything installed we will start fresh to cover all your new mods going on.

So you want me to run that with my current setup before the new parts or after?

Sorry, I might have misread your last post in the other thread, I thought you said you wanted a calibration to drive on until you got all your mods in as well. So you can have some fun with it over the next few days.

If not, let me know and I will put together the first file for the RDXs and all your other mods.

I’ll plug it in and we can work on current if you’d like. I just don’t wanna take advantage of your time.

It's all good, my side is quick and easy. It's the datalogging for you guys that is time consuming. It's totally up to you though, either way, once you go to put your parts on let me know so I can send you a file for the first start with the RDXs and all your other parts. But if you want to play with the file I sent you already while you wait for the parts install that's fine with me.

Flash is saved to computer, just need to flash to car. Is it frowned upon to datalog with 11 month old in the car?

Seems like everything is frowned upon these days, haha. You can just go for a normal drive if you want with it, no aggressive stuff, and we can tighten up the part throttle stuff. Then you can do some WOT stuff when you don't have your baby if you want.

Looks great for a start. Part throttle fuel was really good, the WOT fuel needed some work. Take this one for a spin when you want, or just datalog the next drive when you go somewhere. It might be good to go for now while we wait for the installs, but we'll see.

Great to hear. It will get even better when you do a complete tune with the new intake and injectors. We'll see how the next one looks here.

That one looked really good. Part throttle fuel was great, WOT just needed a few adjustments. I would say you're go to go with this next revision for right now. I'll go ahead and put together the next version for the new parts and injectors. Do you know what day you will be installing everything? No big deal at all, just curious. So run this revision for now, you don't need to make a datalog for this one unless you want to.
