Is there a way to hard reset hondata? I bought a hondata from a guy who was once also stationed here in Germany. I am getting an error saying "VIN number does not match". I believe he forgot to mention that I needed to unlock the device before plugging it in my car. I can't return the device to him since he's back in the states nor plug the device in because the car is in the junkyard and I believe it has been there for months already. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Also, calling tech support is difficult since I currently have German phone number.

What is the serial number on the FlashPro?

What is your ECU part number?

The serial # for my hondata is FP-2012Si-112566
My ECU's part number is 37820-RXO-A21.

To unlock the FlashPro without the ECU it is locked to is $550. If you wish to do this, let me know and I can issue an RMA# and further instructions.
