Rev limit when vtec pops

Lsvtec turbo da pulls all the way threw when vtec is not engaged but once vtec is engaged it hit some sort of rev limiter/breakup. Vtec is set at 5500 rpm

More than likely your grounds in the engine bay are not correct and it is grounding through the VTEC solenoid. Pay special attention to the thermostat housing ground.

Update everything works correctly with stock map sensor..

Am running a skunk2 4 bar map sensor but for some reason will not pop vtec with it installed.

There are no rev limits, boost cuts, or ignition cuts in the datalog. There is some other cause other than the ECU.
Are you using resistor or non-resistor type spark plugs?

If it was something mechanical why would it work with the stock map sensor ?

Those are non-resistor plugs and should not be used. You must use Resistor type plugs.

Which plugs work best it is a lsvtec on 20 psi?

Still doesn’t make sense why everything works with stock map sensor ? I would think if it was a spark plug issue it would do it regardless of what map sensor I use.
