Wheel height calibration (VSS, etc)

Hi,
Wouldn't MPH, Gear Selection Indicator, Boost by Gear, etc, be impacted by your tire height? (For example the 26" drag radial I'm running would be pretty far off from an OEM tire).

if the answer is yes, can anyone tell me where I would enter tire height/diameter into Kmanager? Surprisingly, it doesn't look like the KPro help documentation covers this?

If I need to manually adjust the gear ratios (kinda odd), I would need to know what tire the KPro is assuming it's using, no?

Thanks as always

Wheel size makes no difference to gear calculation, boost by gear etc.

You can set gear ratios in KManager.

You can adjust the ECU speed but for vehicles where the dash reads the speed directly from the speed sensor you need some other method to adjust the dash speed.

Thanks for the info. I am reading speed directly from Kmanager. Follow up questions:

1. You mentioned gear and boost by gear, but not MPH. If MPH in KManager is reading incorrectly as a result of a non-stock wheel size, is there a way to adjust it?

2. Does Kmanager use the inputted gear ratios to create MPH? Or does MPH comes entirely from the ECU?

3. If the gear ratios in Kmanager do impact the MPH, is there a way of finding out what wheel size the computer thinks it has, so I can then adjust the gear ratios to accommodate for the different size wheel?

Thanks again

1. Adjust using the gear ratios and ECU speed correction.
2. The ECU determines the speed.
3. Whatever the stock wheel size is for the 92 Civic.
