Hi guys. I am trying to confirm what vehicle my flash pro is locked to - trying to validate- I sold 2018 thought I unlocked it prior to selling/ but after doing the jail break with the flash pro - with can- I get the error that this flash pro is attached to a different vehicle. I did use 3.8 flash pro and validated the ecu serial number - which was supported .The jailbreak worked.
I did read that in this use case - it’s possible to jailbreak w/o using the flash pro that is attached to vehicle. I did register the vehicle with the flash pro after getting the jail break done. Thinking this “locked” to the vehicle.
Is this possible- to register a flash pro even though it’s attached to a different vehicle?
How do i determine the vin number of the vehicle the flash pro is locked to?
Looks to be a $500 mistake on my part - if I have to send in flash pro to unlock- or is it possible there is a bug?
Back to validating the locked vin number to flash pro would validate my mistake or not.
