I read the forum rules sticky and apologize as I don't have any of this information as I'm learning the software to tune a friend's car. I don't think my question will require it though as this is strictly software related I think. KproV4.
His current tune(from a prior tuner) has a PLX wideband selected, but he said he has an AEM 30-0300. Is there any reason someone might have done this? Would this cause issues? I also noticed the voltage offset is at -1.5 even though the Note specifically says "If value isn't set to zero than there is a ground issue with the wideband".

You would have to check and see if those widebands share the same calibration info. If the voltage offset is that much, then it needs to be wired differently so that it does not need any voltage offset.

Like this for the PLX SM-AFR: ...and the AEM 30-0300: Now that im looking at both of them side-by-side, it would seem some sort of offset would be necessary.
14.7:1 on the AEM is around 3.1v is his sensor output. 14.7:1 on the PLX is 2.35v(minus the1.5v the tuner input) is what KPro is displaying. Am I understanding this correctly?
If the AEM is putting out 3.1v at 14:7, then KPro would recognize that as 16.2:1 (2x voltage + 10, is what PLX claims) since it thinks a PLX is installed. Then calculate the -1.5v offset the previous tuner selected......why would someone do it this way?
So a difference of roughly .75v at Stoich. Would that be a positive or negative compensation required?
If so, does that scale properly along the complete 0-5v range of the sensor? I would guess the answer is no.
I want to change his tune to reflect the ACTUAL sensor installed, especially considering the AEM 30-0300 is the first on the list of available options....so why not use the pre-loaded configuration?

You cannot use the calibration info for a different sensor if they are not the same. You must use a sensor calibration that matches the sensor you are using. The voltage offset will not correct this.
