I'm dealing with this issue while tuning a kpro v4 on an S2K. While making random pulls I get a "misfire" for just a millisecond at 8100 rpm. While looking at the datalogs, I saw that at the time this "missfire" is happening the revlimiter indicator goes ON. So I guess the ecu is revlimiting the engine for a millisecond at 8100 rpm for some reason. The igniton timing is stable so I looks like its a fuel cut. The revlimiter is set at 9000 in parameters. I have attached 2 logs.

You can see my problem in the datalog No1 at the frame 75 and then again at the frame 80. (between 6-7 second of the log).

You can also see it in the datalog No2 at the frame 133 (right after the 12 second of the log).

Please note that this "missfire" is not happening all the times. But it happens most of the times. Like 8 out of 10 pulls.

Can anyone give an explanation on that? It is always happening in these rpm 8000-8100. Could that be an ECU internal problem?

Without the calibration it's hard to say what it could be.

It appears that the TPS may be cutting out and causing the issue. You might try replacing the TPS sensor or check the wiring for it.

Thank you for the reply. I will try that. Even though I can see that the TPS is stable at 100% when the issue is happening. But I will give it a shot.

As an update I changed the ECU with another ECU with KPro v4 and nothing changed.
I also created a new file and copied all the stuff from my file also with no luck.

I will try a new TPS sensor tomorrow and I will let you know.

Hi, I’m running same setup on my s2000 (kpro v4) and kept cutting out @8200 when limiter was set to 9k. Tuner was trying to trouble shoot. We tried a different kpro ecu and did the same thing. Changed maps and reloaded and did the same thing. Did you end up finding a fix for this issue? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
