I just finished a 2000 civic si with:
k20a from cl7 euro r. (dc5 type r engine in an accord)
Ktuned 4-1 race header,
rbc intake manifold
ktuned 3” cai,
310cc injectors with ktuned rail, set to 55psi fuel pressure
itr cams and 50* cam gear,
2.5” exhaust.
Ktuned engine harness 02-04
Ktuned conversion harness for 98-00 Ek
AEM 30-0300 wideband connected to kpro analog0
KProV4
Need some advice on what base map. I’m leaning towards the k20a_itr.kal as it seems closest to my setup but vtec thresholds look a little low. any advice appreciated. I can post logs if anyone is willing to help. I’m new to kpro. It’s also hot out and I run 93octane. Thanks!

I always recommend staring with an unmodified base tune. In this instance an RSX Type s calibration file. Any base map file that you use will need modification. Do you plan to get the car dyno tuned? What is your goal?

I do plan on dyno tuning but the closest dyno is over 2hrs away and I don’t want to crawl there in open loop. My plans are road racing, canyon driving and roll racing, looking for about 250hp. I have some rdx 410cc injectors and aem 350lph e85 ready pump to go in. I tried the rsx_itr_cam_jrh kal and it felt decent down low but I know it is lacking up top compared to the higher compression, itr cams, 59* vtc and rbc im.Micheal,

If I upload the base kal I use as well as proper datalog would you be able to help me clean it up well enough to drive to tuner safely? I mainly concerned about knock. Just recently installed a k24 knock sensor too.

Yes, I am able to help with tuning the car. I asked you goal so I know how to approach the tune. The proper way is to tune all the tables and that is my normal approach(What your tuner will do).
