sorry to upload this topic, but I'm not sure what to do anymore.
I'm having some issues with my Kpro.

I have bought the krpo second hand and was working fine. Since yesterday I cannot seem to connect KPRO to my laptop.
the driver is installed but Kmanager remains offline.
The car is running good, think I still have the "tune" online, no fault code on the dash, or any other issues.
the laptop no gives the notification that the usb is not recognized..

Tried a new cable.
tried a different laptop
software is up to date.

As i search the forums, i can only seem to find 2 possible issues
a fault in the kpro itself, loose contact or broken.
or some software issues.

would be great if somebody could tell me what to do next to make sure it's the ECU and not the software.
or some other solution.
i didn't check the ECU yet, as i am afraid of doing more damage if i disconnect the ecu.
because its my only ECU, a non-driving car is not an option...

as i live in Holland im not sure where i can go with this issue.

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

When you plug in the USB, what does it show up as in the Windows device manager?

As a "unknown" device
which the driver cannot be installed.

this is not the exact tekst it shows, but something like this.

the laptop does make the sound when you plug the usb in, but it doesn't recognize the device.
wich is strange because it did before...

On sunday im able to give you to word by word tekst the laptop says when i plug the usb in.

hope you can help like this however, thank you for the effort at least.

It sounds like the K-Pro is damaged. The only option at this point would be to upgrade to the version 4.

f*ck, just what i was afraid of.
1 last question, which I think I know the answer off.
Is the original tune now back on the car? or is it my "last save" that is active now?
