Can I use ECT-2 to display Oil Temp?

Thinking about putting a sensor in the oil pan and I was wondering if I could wire the sensor to the ect2 connection on the ecm and then display the sensors reading on the hondata mobile app.

No, this will not work as it uses this temperature reading for other things.

I was under the impression that the ect2 is not utilized since it can be used for an AFR sensor
