Hi,
May I have some guideline for ignition advancing. My engine had low comp piston - 8.5 CR, forged conrod and tuned with high octane (RON 97). I would like to have some idea how many degree I can advance my ignition to. I know we have to tune it base on where we see knock. Basically I am not very convinced with the tuner I had. It is good to have some basic idea, so I know if the car tuned with adequate safety margin. Some tuner will go to the max power they can get with a small safety margin. I prefer to be in safe range as the car is a daily ride.
