Making Sure Tune Is Safe (FG2)

Post by juxjay »

Just used Emys Tune from the Vault and I just wanted to make sure the tune is running fine. Car is completely stock except the Hybrid Racing CAI, willing to try any other recommended tunes aswell because I wasnt able to find one personally and I'm not sure how to make sure they're good. Added the datalog aswell

For the most part it's okay. No knock which is good, but it is very rich in some areas and the commanded AFR is all over the place which is making things difficult for it to hit the target.

If you want some help tuning it I can help you. Are you planning on just having the HR intake for a while, or do you plan to do some more mods in the near future?

Sorry for the late reply but yeah I was gonna stick with the intake for now performance wise but maybe headers and exhaust within the next few months, but yeah I’d appreciate the help!

No problem. Okay, yeah it's sort of up to you on this one then. We can probably get you dialed with 5 or so revisions where we start you on a complete file. Or we can do it the long way where we tune each cam angle individually, which usually takes around 10-12 revisions. I generally like to it the long way, but if you're going to swap parts in a few months it might be best to get you something really good for now, and then spend the time to make it perfect for your header and exhaust. Let me know what sounds good to you.
