Alternate speed input problem

Post by leowan1989 »

Hi there
Here is the info of my car
-kpro4 PND ecu
-94 civic eg hatchback
-stock k20a2
-y2m3 jdm dc5r gearbox

My problem is the speedometer is 10km/h(6.2mph) faster than the actual speed. I was followed hondata's instruction to set the alternate speed input to 2485 pulses per km. Just wondering how should i adjust it? Increase or decrease the pulses?

Try adjusting one way and see if it gets better, if not, adjust the other way. This will not have any effect on the cluster, as it is internal to the ECU only.

Thank you
I got one more question.
My kpro has been tuned. The tuner told me don’t mess with the map. So if i connect my computer to the kpro will it affect anything that has been tuned?

You will have to alter the calibration to make any changes. You may want to discuss this with your tuner.
