base map ok for K&N drop in filter only?

Would this be okay to run with a base Stage 2 map or could it cause a lean condition? Someone on amazon recorded a 1mpg increase in fuel economy which made me question if it is safe or not. I appreciate any feedback you could provide

It's not going to make any air flow difference, but in any case the air flow meter will correct.
