hello, i need help I've recently purchased my hondata ecu, everything works as it should i just cannot do anything to the ecu when trying to install a calibration... i cant register with Hondata. I can see that there is currently nothing on the ecu, and my options are grayed out. I have the jumper harness, it says my usb drivers are intalled correctly, ignition says off even when its on.
Im trying to install this on my 06 Acura rsx, it currently wont start due to the key fob immobilizer. Which is the reason why im trying to install this new ecu. Please any help would be apprieciated.

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

I'm not sure which one it is. "3809", or the one above it "eb94v0" .

There is no record of this ECU being modified for use with an 05-06 RSX. Are you using an adapter harness?

Yes. I have the adapter harness for 05-06 rsx .
I have tried it with and without the harness, I get the same result, kmanager picks up the ecu , but I can't upload or download anything..

What is the ECU serial number?

The ecu serial number is 2054-100928

Is 3809 the number that is on the sticker that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

That number on the sticker is 05008005 .

Post a picture of the adapter harness you are using, and how it is plugged in.

Will the engine start with the original ECU?

No it will not start with the original ecu because of the immobilizer. I had put a new battery in the car and that caused the key to no longer work for some reason.

Changing the battery will have no effect on the immobilizer. IT sounds like you have some other problem. Once it starts and runs with the original ECU, the K-Pro should work. Check all fuses and grounds.
