I have been chasing down my VTEC disengaging issue. B18C1 with P72 Hondata S300 (latest version pf software). VTEC engages and then disengaged via pressure switch with out throwing any error codes. I have troubleshot wiring/sensors and they are functioning. Oil pressure at the head test port while VTEC is engaged is at 65 PSI per the service manual steps.
When I try and disable VTEC pressure sensor in parameters the sensor still shuts down VTEC.
Why wont wont VTEC pressure sensor disable?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Cannot disable VTEC pressure switch
This datalog indicates that the vehicle is not moving and is not under load when you are revving the engine.
Re: Cannot disable VTEC pressure switch
I took it when I was troubleshooting VTEC pressure. Same thing happens while driving even with pressure switch disabled in parameters. Not sure why the ECU will not disable it.
Re: Cannot disable VTEC pressure switch
Post the calibration as well as a datalog showing it when the vehicle is under load while moving.
Re: Cannot disable VTEC pressure switch
Here are the requested docs. Pressure switch still activates and disables VTEC right after VTEC engagement.

Re: Cannot disable VTEC pressure switch
VTEC appears to be working properly.
Re: Cannot disable VTEC pressure switch
So when VTP activates it’s not the switch shuting down VTEC? When I was testing pressure switch when VTP would engaged on datalog the switch would lose continuity. Also vtec starts to pull and then fall on face right about when VTP engages on datalog.
I guess my issue is something else.

Check your grounds in the engine bay, especially the one at the thermostat housing.
