So I have a built d16 making 600hp and my ecu recently went out and in the process I thought it was a fuel issues so I checked everything fuel related and all that’s good so come to find out it was a bad ecu so I went from a p28 to a p2p or a po6 with vtech soldered in and go to start the car and it haven’t issues starting like I have to hold the starter longer and when I go to give it gas it revs up then dies and bogs all the afr’s are good I’m so lost at this point is there something in the hondata that I need to check or anything? And the car was running perfect pre the new ecu

If you change the rev limit to something low like 2000 rpm, does it take the change and rev limit at the new setting?

It sounds like there is a problem with the socketing of the ECU. I would have the shop that socketed it test it and make sure that it is socketed correctly and working.
