Vss wiring help!

I cannot find information that doesn't contradict itself. Trying to get an updated answer with V4 prb ecu

1994 ford escort gt
Jdm k24a2
2004 honda accord 5 speed transmission
2005 civic si engine harness
Hondata kprov4 PRB ecu
Hybrid racing universal harness

Can anyone explain how I need to wire my vss to read correctly in the hondata so I can set up boost by gear? I don't need anything with my dash to work...

Do I need to just repin connector and change a setting in kpro v4? Or do I need to find a 5v sensor output from ecu like the tps and then repin the other 2 wires like an 02-04 connection?

You should just need to re-pin the connector and change the setting in the calibration.

I thought one of vss sensors had a 12v source and one was a 5v ref. I don't need to do anything with that?
