I seem to have a fault on the digital input to my kpro. Its been working fine for years with a PLX wideband and 2 PLX temperature sensors daisy chained to the digital input. Today a wire came loose from one of the sensors so the reading went haywire and it took me some time to track down the lose wire. On plugging back in there's now nothing being read digitally. I tested the wideband with a gauge that plugs into its digital output and it works fine. I've tried hooking the wideband and temp sensors up separately and neither results in a digital input in kmanager.
As unlikely as it seems the only conclusion I can make is that either the loose wire or me being ham-fisted in tracking it down has damaged the kpro digital input circuit.
I've now hooked up the sensor analogue outputs to the kpro analogue inputs, which works but isn't as smooth or accurate as the digital input was.
Is there anything I can do or will I need to replace my kpro?
Kpro v3 digital fault
Re: Kpro v3 digital fault
If the K-Pro is damaged, then you would have to upgrade to the version 4 and it would be an additional $400 since it is damaged. There is also a chance that the Wideband controller has been damaged and is not outputting the signal.
