2018 Euro FK8 with Hondata 93 octane tune - slower than 2020 Euro FK8 stock

My friend has this 2018 Euro FK8 and bought from you Flashpro/Jailbreak etc
- he put the 93 Octane tune https://www.hondata.com/flashpro-fk8-us (which suppose to give him +47 hp)
- his car is stock
- he uses 99/100 RON gas over here in Europe

Last night he raced against a brand new stock 2020 Euro FK8 (using only 95RON gas) - they tried rolling races on the highway from different speeds, and gears:
- he lost against the 2020 FK8 every time by 2 lengths of the car
- he is very upset about the results and his investment in Hondata

How can this be possible, where are those +47hp extra from the tune?

I've added a datalog for his 93 octane tune, if anyone wants to take a look.

A race with another vehicle is not a good way to measure power - there are too many other variables. That's why dynos exist.

For instance, if you friend doesn't press the accelerator all the way to the god damn floor and shift gears in less than one full second how do they expect to be faster?

That particular datalaog is not from his actual race.
It was the first datalog he did after putting his 93 octane tune (he was just checking the map without racing anyone), and it was added here for you to check if you see anything wrong with this calibration on his car.
If is not good then he can do another one (as he didn't datalog his racing)

There’s a lot of slip in that log. The traction control retarded ignition as much as 25 degrees.

seems like a lot of variables, driver mod is also one and how good of a driver is in shifting and driving their car, as in example I have beaten many other peoples cars with a lot more parts and tune, which they should have beaten me. I am running the baseline tune and my car is extremely faster then a stock fk8 2020, so something is up somewhere. I would suggest going back to stock tune or re-check and make sure everything was correctly selected when upgrading your tune.

I can tell you Hondata is not the issue, unless something is wrong with your friend's vehicle in specific. So yea too many variables as to why he lost the race.
