Flashpro does not get power from OBD2 Port

Hi guys, just got flashpro and was having a lot of fun playing with calibrations. I've flashed the ECU maybe about 3 times so far, but now when i plug in Flashpro to the obd2 port with key to ON, flashpro does not power on.
I can plug flashpro onto my computer and it gets power (power & usb light on) I can even upload new calibrations to it without issue.
I also have a FIXD obd2 reader that works no problem in the OBD2 port.
But when I plug flashpro in, the power light works for couple seconds then turns off, datalog and power then continue to randomly flash.
Is my flashpro unit faulty? Any ideas?
