S300 power to led lights

Post by 1320vickers »

I have a s300 in a crx and I’ve looked to see if the d3 light stays on after the key has been switched on. It seems like it’s supposed to but mine goes off after a second I’m just trying to figure out if it’s normal or a socket issue

What is the serial number that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?

Who installed this s300 and did the socketing of the ECU?

Could the wiring harness have anything to do with it

It could be any number of things. I can't really see the solder joints as it is out of focus. Have the capacitors been replaced?

I’m sorry I tried to get it to focus better not that I know if I thought about ordering a kit and putting all new ones in the board has a tiny brown spot next to c14

I would start by replacing the capacitors and see if that resolves the issue, as they are more than 25 years old.

Ok had the ecu completely refurbished with all new capacitors and socket kit and it’s still not connecting to the laptop On the dash it says ignition off I’m thinking a wire problem but I’ve tore it apart and don’t seen anything obvious
