I brought my s300 two years ago and bought a separate socket ecu that was done by professional.
I parked my car for a year to redo some stuff to the car but only thing i messed with on the was installed 70mm skunk 2 throttle body.
S300 was working the whole time I had it up to when i parked the car, once I got ready to start the car up after a year, it seems to lost its calibration that I had uploaded to the ecu cause car would start but die real fast wouldnt catch an idle. For my topic now the hondata chip will have both green lights on when the ignition is on but once I hook my laptop up to the chip d2 starts flashing red and doesnt stop but only when it is hooked to the computer.
Serial number is 39746; software is 2.7.5.0; im using p28 ecu and its in a 94 acura integra b20 swap.
when it is hooked up with the flashing red light, it says online, installed, and gives me all the info for the chip on the software; it even shows me datalogging when I do crank the car but my foot is on the gas the whole time for a certain rpm. The program seems to be working cause it will earse ecu and upload calibration but just has a darn flashing red light that i didnt have before.

Do you have on board datalogging enabled?

If it is working as it should, then don't worry about the lights.

If you are not experiencing any issues with how it works, then don't worry about the lights.

Well I ignore the lights and went ahead to see if it will load up a base map and it doesn't, it will communicate with the ecu in all of the other ways but it wont upload a base map at all cause the car will act like it has nothing to run off of has a low idle wants to die and no power to move. So red light flashing is telling me something but I dont know what it is.

When was the last time it was working?

Have the capacitors in the ECU been replaced?

I know for a fact that it was working when i parked the car late 2019 but I'm not sure if they have or not but I dont know which ones are the capacitors.
