Hi,

I was looking at some post where you (Hondata) sugested that to set the Injector deadtime you normally drive on 4th gear and slowly deacrese the pedal input and watch what the closeloop value does.

Well in my case it goes higher on the negative numbers. so slowly takes some fuel up to -12% or so.

Does this mean that my deadtimes are too high?

I'm using the Deastchweks 1300cc Injectors on 60 PSI fuel Pressure that should flow 1500cc, I found some datasheet on these injectors and the dead times recommended for 58psi or 4 bar are:

0v 3.50
8v 3.28
10v 2.35
12v 1.62
14v 1.08
16v 0.73
24v 0.60

With these figures Short trim at idle is taking off a lot of fuel

how these value look to You?

You can try adjusting one way and see if it better and if not, go the other way.

Why not use the built in dead times that we have tuned on the dyno?

Should I used the ones provided at the drop down menu even at 60 PSI base fuel pressure? though they were for 43 psi base fuel pressure.

I tried them,

Cold start got very rich in the 10's range, so pulled a lot of fuel after all ECt / IAT's compensation were at Zero, as it got to around 175-180 fuel trim was adding a lot of fuel back.
So it's a bid odd that goes from rich to lean with no other changes made. other than engine getting to operatng temp. Also as fan comes on it leans further more and fuel trim adds some more fuel.

I want to find a balance so it does not or take that much fuel maybe in the -5 / +5% Range when it richens and leans out. part throttle not changing that much is just at Idle where I have this issue.
