DW300c low pressure fuel pump

I realize that Hondata sells a solution to resolve the factory fuel system limitation. However, for those that are just looking for a small increase in fuel (~5% reduction in pump duty cycle) and don't want to spend money for the complete kit, will the DW300c resolve this?

Or is there a mechanical limitation on the factory high pressure pump that would prevent more fuel from flowing even if the low pressure pump can supply more fuel? In other words, if you replaced the factory low pressure pump with the DW300c, would the duty cycle numbers read exactly the same as the factory pump?

Changing the low pressure pump will not have any effect.
