B16a wont rev pass 3 grand... maybe wiring plz help......

I just put a B16a in a 91 honda civic dx and it runs but wont rev over 3 grand, plz help/..

Well what happends when it hits 3K rpm? Does it die or sound like its hitting the rev limiter or what? is everything else ok below 3 K rpm? who made the wiring harness? HASport? what ECu are you running? last but not least what other things did you do to the motor before you put it in, timing belt, dist cap and rotor??

3200 rpm is the limp home rev limit. On a PR3 the LED will also stay on (not flash). The problem is the ROM, socketing or ECU itself.
