WOT loss of power at higher rpms

Hey I have a stock 2017 civic si with the 6psi tune with sport button. When I go wot sometimes I can't even get to the redline without losing all power. Its always around the 5500 mark. It feels like the throttle is slamming shut. This happens with or without the sport button pushed and it doesn't happen everytime either.
