O2 sensor choices for kproV4

Post by Gothera »

K24 swapped in rsx race header
Have stock 2 O2 sensors plus an aem uego arriving tomorrow.

What configuration will be most ideal, easiest to get running good.
Stock primary, aem secondary for monitor
Aem primary tied to ecu, maybe stock secondary
Aem primary tied to ecu no secondary
Stock primary and secondary, weld 3rd bung for aem monitor

Guess my though was the extended range of the aem as the primary may make it harder to street tune compared to running the stock narrow band primary being maybe more forgiving for drivability. Maybe Im retarded and the aem alone will be fine. Figured it was worth asking first , motor is going back in in 3 days

If you have the stock wideband from the RSX then that is all you really need as it is more than capable of being used for tuning and will also allow you to run in closed loop without any additional wiring.

Doing more research on the topic that's what I did, I kept the original primary O2 and replaced the secondary with the 4110. Now I just need my kpro to show up in the mail so I can get car running and figure out which wires to connect the uego blue and white to for data logging, I guess the stock primary can be logged but would be nice to log the aem also to compare readings. Pnd (rsx base)ecu with kpro v4.
