Fk2 flashpro works on fk8?

Hi all ive recently aquired a second flashpro that used to belong to an fk2 owner, the flashpro is unlocked and i would like to use it on my friends fk8, my question is, could i just use that flashpro on an fk8 and upload fk8 maps on it or is it only compatible with fk2 ecus?
