Received my 2020 Fk8 jailbroken ECU in the mail. In Flashpro Manager, I noticed it says the jailbreak status is 'unknown'. Is this just a bug and shouldn't affect the ability to use Flashpro?

On the 2020 FK8 the jailbreak status cannot be determined. That's why the instant jailbreak is not available.

Update: The instant jailbreak for the 2020 is available. With the jailbreaker plugged in the jailbreak status will be correct, otherwise it will be 'unknown'.

ayau - good to know you got your ECU already. My 2020 FK8 ECU was mailed out to Hondata on on July 23rd or 24th (my dealership mailed it out). Sounds like yours was mailed out to Hondata around the same time? I'm still waiting to receive the ECU back. I've been without my car for a week and a half now, and I'm going through withdrawal.

Also good to know about the "Jailbreak: Unknown" status too... I probably would have worried about that as well.

Funny... shortly after I sent that last message, I got a call from the dealership saying the ECU arrived and the car was ready. Installed a basemap already, and lovin' it so far.

Try the E25 map if you have E85 pumps nearby. Even better.

Hondata: Is this still an issue with the 2020's and the new "jailbreaker" method? Mine said "Jailbroken" when I bypassed the CAN and performed the jailbreak process. However, it shows "Unknown" now. Is that an issue? Looks like it took the calibration...but the "unknown" status is disconcerting?

Yes, it will still show unknown after it has been jailbroken.
