I have a 2006 Honda Civic Si, k20z3. car has headers and full 3" exhaust. Car ran perfect and purchased the hondata reflash in March of this year. Once I installed the ecu again when I turn the car on and engine reaches warm running temperature idle begins to surge, 700-1000 rpm besides that while driving car runs great, vtec activates around 4500 rpm, redlines near 9000 rpm. Replaced spark plugs to see if that was the issue but no success. looking for any advice or solution to this. Thanks

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body or anything?

Yes cleaned the throttle body and it helped a bit but after a while begins to surge again while stationary. Seems as if it’s not receiving enough air flow at low rpm.

You may need to clean it again and then do the factory idle learn procedure.
