I have intake, intercooler, DP, full exhaust, was running 91 Oct, DP, intercooler map well for a couple weeks on my 2019 FK8. After I installed PRL Ti intake piupe and FlexFuel kit, I flashed the calibration to enable ethanol ready from ECT2, ethanol content, and the radiator fan is always on, like 5 sec after I started the car or ign on, checked radiator fan setting the on/off temp looks fine. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Post your calibration as well as a datalog showing the issue.

I tired 91 oct DP intercooler improved throttle response map with all 3 ethanol options checked, 2nd O2 disable checked, Reb hang and 7200 rev limit Checked, and I tried E0-E80 map with only ethanol input thru ECT2 enable, other 2 ethanol options not checked, the rest options same as above. Both map get the fan to turn in instantly. Checked PRL fuel fuel kit install and eventhing is fine.

We do not need screenshots. We need the actual calibration as well as a datalog showing the issue.

Is the flex fuel kit installed? Does it read ethanol content correctly?

Tired for 2 weeks, still no luck. How can I upload my calibration so you pros can check for me? I will download the lastest beta 3.5.9 and try again.

Here is the calibration. before i tried 3.5.9 beta, I put ~10L of E85 in the car for the first time to make sure its reading properly (not easy to get E85 where I live so took me a month to finally got some) I drove the car around the block to mix the fuel and it showed ~16% ethanol on the screen. Oddly the radiator fan is not on anymore. does it mean i always have to run the car with certain % of ethanol?

Did we establish what ECU you have?

We have reproduced this problem and are in the process of fixing this. It only occurs with ethanol free gas.

Correct, I have tried many different setting with the latest “non-beta” version, followed all the directions from Aston on FK8 review group but still no luck. The rad fan turns on full speed when Ethanol is lower then ~5%, and most high octane pump gas here in Canada is under 5% ethanol... so it’s like always on full speed in my case, not sure if it turns off at hwy speed.

Most importantly, I am getting my car dyno tuned. If the fixed is released after, can I have the fix applied to the tuned map? Or do I have to copy all the tables manually to a new base map?
