- what vehicle you have: 2004 Honda Civic VP
- serial number of your K-Pro: 05009389, KPro V2
- version of software being used (from Help, About): 4.4.3.0
- ECU part number (starts with 37820) and serial number (the number under the part number): 37820-PNF-A05, 014297-3213
- KManager version (not 'the latest'): 4.4.3.0
- the calibration (as an attachment): Not possible, won't communicate.
- a datalog of a problem (as an attachment): Not possible, won't communicate.
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc).: K20A2/JRSC engine swap. Car runs fine using a different and fully functional PRB/KPro V4 ECU. I'm using the same computer and cable with both ECUs.
- when and where you got the K-Pro: Recently purchased used from a salvage car with transmission/clutch failure.
- a specific description of the problem: KManager won't communicate with the ECU. Driver's are installed. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers with no success. When testing the USB, I get the message, "The ECU USB information is incorrect (Recovery PID)". Attempted to update, but the update failed. Solid green LED on the KPro board when connected (red LED flashes for a split second when connected and immediately shuts off) and the USB shows up in my computer's device manager. I'm not sure what to try next or if the ECU or KPro board is in need of repair. Can you guys offer any advice? Thanks in advance.
