To make a long story short I have a plx wideband hooked and using the eld input as suggested, set it up in flashpro. I have been getting the eld code for awhile p1298. I'm also getting a code for fuel metering too rich p0172. Is there anything in setting I could disable for this?

Why not use B12 or B22 instead of the ELD for the sideband input?

Most people used the eld input as does the wideband install recommends the eld input but if b12 can be used I'll just switch it

The ECU does not use the aftermarket wideband signal to make any adjustments or throw errors. If it is saying it is too rich then you will need to lean it out.
