Vtec On non-vtec HONDATA ecu

Post by lozano232323 »

Soo Im building a d16y7 with a z6 head swap and a non vtec obd1 converted harness and I’m trying to figure out how run Vtec with the non-vtec hondata. There’s a option to do that with the S300 but it doesn’t really explain how

Scroll down a little bit and it gives u a diagram on how to wire the solenoid if using a non vtec ecu.

If you can so some soldering and are comfortable with messing with your ecu then depending on the ecu you can actually convert your ecu to run vtec.

No, you must use a separate relay that you supply.
