Most people know that from the factory FK2/FK8 ECUs cannot be programmed over OBDII and must be unlocked ('jailbroken').

Now you can do your own jailbreak in a matter of minutes.

You will need a FlashPro and the FlashProManager software V3.4.9 (or higher) installed on a laptop.

1. Make sure your FlashPro is registered

2. Plug the FlashPro into your vehicle, switch on the ignition. Open the 'FlashPro' window and select the 'Jailbreak' tab. Check the vehicle VIN is shown.

3. Copy the VIN (to the computer clipboard).

4. Purchase this product 'Instant Jailbreak' using your vehicle VIN.

5. Enter the order number from your online purchase.

6. Click 'Instant Jailbreak'. The process takes 30 seconds.

I can’t purchase the instant jailbreak.

I got the message

” The transaction has been declined because of an AVS mismatch. The adress provided does not match billing address of cardholder”

I have tried different cards and typed my adress in different ways but i got the message all the time.

Now they have been reserved amounts on my cards but i dont got any jailbreak ordernumber/code...

Can it be that US dont have the ÅÄÖ letters and i do in my adress?

I made a change to the AVS filter and it should work for you now.

What happens with the reserved amounts on my cards?

All of the transactions were declined, so we can't refund them. What seems to happen is that they show on your account as a hold and will disappear in a day or so.

Now I have to tell you that the Swedish characters in your address might be a problem.

Now the payment worked and i got the ”code” on my mail.

But now i got an Application error when i try to do the jailbreak.

”Only one element can be on the highest level in the XML-document”

Now i got it all to work!
I now run the basemap for tuning on my FK2!

i had a similar AVS mismatch as well... with australian mastercards.

Never mind it seem to work this time...

We did not change anything so it was some oddity about the non US address matching. Glad it worked.

Hello , I would like to purchase instant jailbreak for my FK8 , Flashpro is on it's way . Problem is when ever i hit the confirm order button, it always shows transaction declined. I am from vancouver bc , but I do have a US Credit card . Please help , thank you

please send an email to carol <at> hondata.com and she can check it. Usually it has to do with the billing address, which we have no control over it declining.
