which breaks my lambda sensor every month

Hi!

I have a problem with my 02 ep3 ctr, Eu model. I have basic mods in it. It does break lambda sensors every month with hondata prb kpro v4. I have used denso primary lambda (234-9005). And every month it breaks brand new lambda sensor! It gives code p1166 and won't go off without changing lambda. After that, it works well about month and then it breaks another lambda again...What might cause this. Problems started when i put kpro on.

Moisture or vibration.

I dont think so. No problems have been with stock ecu and lambda.

The sensor is controlled by the ECU not by the KPro.

Is this a narrow band or wideband sensor? What ECU are you using?

The stock ECU uses a narrowband sensor, and a PRB uses a wideband.

I know. I have both ecus. Now i have been driven stock ecu and narrowband lambda. It works well and no lambda problems at all. When i put prb ecu back and buy another denso 234-9005 sensor, it will last about month. After that it breaks the heater and gives code p1166.

Sorry about bad english

Have you rewired this for use with a wideband?

I have done it inside my kpro ecu.

This sounds like the reason it is damaging sensors.

Wiring inside The ecu is correct. I have checked it many times

I would recommend contacting CPL Racing about the wiring for this as they are the most familiar with this type of conversion.
