I understand numbers represent newton meters across rpm.
Why the number 655 for the torque tables?
What happens if this is raised?
Is there any benefit to setting these targets closer to actual engine output??

655Nm is the maximum for the table. The engine/turbo cannot make this much torque so there's no point raising it.
