ECU: KPro V4

Before I go about reinventing the wheel (pun not intended), I have a Mini Cooper EHPS pump installed. It currently runs whenever the ignition is on. After fiddling with some wiring diagrams... I noticed that pin E16 is for the PS Pump switch...

I'm not sure how the original system functioned, so sorry if this is remedial. But, could I use that to control my EHPS pump, by wiring that to a relay to power the pump on/off?

No, that is an input to the ECU to idle up slightly when the pressure increased to keep it form stalling the engine.
