Would it be possible to use this fuel economy bar as a boost gauge instead of an eco gauge?

The number readout changes to the center value of 20 when using the km settings on the dash which would be a good median value for a boost gauge...

Would be willing to help with my lx hatch if needed for develooment :)

No, because the dash used the fuel consumption information from the ECU to update the fuel gauge, and if you mess with the fuel consumption information your fuel gauge will do odd things.
