Good Day

I purchased a used TSX Flashpro unit on eBay and the seller returned the ecu to stock but forgot to unlock from vehicle.
Problem is I reside in a different continent and the seller is in the USA.

This was purely an oversight from his part, but now I only have 2 options.

1. Suppose sending it back and forth for him to unlock and incur shipping as well as customs/duties.
2. Hopefully Hondata could assist me with unlocking the unit remotely, is this possible?

The unit serial number is FP-TSX-US-90601

This cannot be remotely unlocked. You will need to arrange for the seller to properly unlock it, or get your money back from them.

Thanks for the prompt response. What would the cost be to unlock the unit? This would mean sending to Hondata right?

It is $550 to unlock it.

Thanks for the feedback. So only option is to request a refund from the seller as you initially stated. Sending back to unlock and send back to me including customs/duties will be a waste.

Is there any possibility of having the device unlocked online or via Team Viewer or a remote desktop of some sort? Or does the device physically have to be sent for unlocking? Please confirm the process and how it works if it has to be sent to you.....

This includes the return shipping.
