I don't see many adjustments for throttle control available.
Has there been inaccessible background changes made to the throttle response?

I'm talking more about the throttle plate dampening or opening rate. I don't mean the "seat of the pants" response.

No changes to the throttle opening (apart from the ecu or sport buttons). If you change the throttle tables the ECU tends to learn around the changes and things get jerky.
