Flashpro Manager Registration Issue

Got a flashpro for 2012 civic si
When i try to just register my flashpro i get.
"An error has occurred using the FlashPro. Check you have internet access"
When i try to install the usb drivers (which are already installed) through "Help" i get "error setting up inf file (Error: T)" followed by "error updating USB driver (error: T)
The first thing i'm supposed to do is register it right? Was shown as the first step, so i'm missing any precursor or anything?
I've tried this on 2 computers, both with internet connections both using version 2.8.3.0
Edit: Also, as far as anti-virus goes, i'm only using the windows 10 defender, which is super bare bones and tells you when it does anything.

Don't use the update function from the Help menu. Follow the instructions here:

And use the device manager to check that the drivers are installed correctly. If they are and it still doesn't work, uninstall the drivers and then install FlashProManager again.

Did all of that, still the same "an error has occurred registering the flash pro. check you have internet access" Disabled windows defender, windows firewall, still will not register. Also, when doing the "check internet connection" it says it's OK. i'm using windows 10 btw

What is the serial number that is on the FlashPro?
