2017 Civic Sport CVT

Post by Joshcornkid »

I bought a new 2017 Civic Sport CVT today. Being up here in Colorado suffering power loss because of elevation I am going to buy the FlashPro to help gain some HP back.

I do have questions;
- Is the +3 & +6 PSI maps similar to what the SI base models use?
+ The reason I ask is.. If I flash at +6 PSI how will this affect the engine and components long term. If the SI model is already running a similar map then that assures me that the engine and components will take it.

- After the flash what happens (if anything) when running in "Eco" mode?
+ If nothing could FlashPro configure the car to go back to stock settings?

- If new features come about in the future does my purchase include any new upgrades or enhancements that become available?

- The FlashPro has something to offer the manual transmission, but is there anything to be offered to the CVT Paddle Shifter's in the Sport model?

-Lastly, if I have ideas to share does Hondata.com have a place to request features and enhancements?

I thank you ahead for your time and and looking forward to your responses.

The SI uses a different turbo than the other models so a comparison like that cannot be made. Using our calibrations you should not see any long term issues.

You can configure the ECO mode to act like stock or to give the same improvements as in regular mode.

All updates are included in new software versions which you can download from our website.

FlashPro can be used on CVT transmissions.

You can post suggestions on the forum here.
