Changes from 2.8.1.0:
  • FlashPro firmware updated to version 120
  • [2017 CRV] United states release
  • [2017 Civic Si] Added boost by gear limit table
  • [2006-2011 Civic Si / 2006-2011 FN2] Active tuning merge tables available
Download here

This release supports the 2017+ US CR-V

The 2016+ Civic Si gets boost by gear. There is a table which specifies the maximum boost (in bar) for each gear, indexed by rpm.

In 2.8.2.0 the merge button is available but why I don't see change which are made from active tuning?
Logs which are recorded in 2.8.1.0 are not supported in 2.8.2?

I have recorded a short screencast. I will sent it via email to you.

The buttons are available and the merge function works, although the download button for active tables is disabled.

You have to save the calibration after uploading to the ECU, and then have the same calibration open when downloading the tables.

So if I am right, the changes will be taken in the stored calibration and not in the log?

log? datalog? No, the changes are downloaded from the ECU into a calibration.

This area (downloading/merging) can use improvement, and we intend to make modifications based on feedback.

yes, datalog is the correct wording. Ahhh ok now it is clear for me.
It is not better to store the changes in the datalog? So I can see a "trend" in each log without touching the current stored calibration.

Szenario:
If I am drive 4 days and record 4 datalogs I can not use the changes which are made in log 2 because only the last one can be used.

During active tuning the ECU changes a table internally. You can download the altered table to see the changes but a datalog does not record that table.

Procedure to update Actve Fuel Tuning (AFT)
  • Load Calibration
  • Activate AFT
  • Upload to FP or/and ECU
    • The previous definitions saved in file are now stored in FP;
    • Save calibration is Optional.
  • Driving car (making changes in ECU AFT tables)
  • Load Calibration from FP
    • Load the file stored in FP;
    • If AFT active load automatic the AFT tables by running the download method.
In this way removing the mandatory load from file.

No this steps does not work....
I have datalogged all the time and downloaded now (this evening after drive 3 rounds á 30 minutes!) the calibration from the hondata FP and it is still the same if I compare it to the original from this morning. Additional in the datalogs nothing was changed. L.TRIM is still the same...

If I press the merge button and compare it to the original calibration from the morning it display no changes in fuel tables. What is wrong.... ? I could not understand why it does not work on my car...

Yes, you are right. This was a suggestion to work in this way.
I have also the saved calibration with the Active Fuel Tables changes in ECU and the button to download is disabled.

I have logs recorded in 2.8.1.0 and have no problem looking at them in 2.8.2

Yes it works here too - but I am watching on the active Tuning feature... I thought, the ECU store the active Tuning changes in the datalog and I can later pipe the changes into the final calibrations if the merge button is available... But it seems to be I was wrong because the changes will be write back into the calibration directly... But it does not work for me or I am wrong or miss steps ... how ever - for me it seems to be currently it does not work for the FN2 ECU :-(

The same problem like typer86, there is no changes.
